Caribbean Exploration

This exciting 10 day program is held on a 50 foot sailboat in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.  Students live aboard the yacht as they travel from island to island, exploring each location both above and below the water.  Activities include learning the fundamentals of sailing, snorkeling and skin diving, leadership development, hiking and more.

This program is designed for students with little or no experience sailing, and who are not interested in pursuing diving activities.  Students will get to explore the underwater world from surface level while snorkeling and skin diving only.  There are no scuba diving activities during this program.

Students gain meaningful sailing experience during this program.  All students will have the opportunity to learn various aspects of sailing and boating in general.  Students take turns navigating, steering, raising, lowering and trimming sails, mooring, docking, anchoring and more.  It is a lot of fun and students leave the program with new skills, new friends and a stronger level of confidence.

This program is slightly more sailing intensive than other programs.  Although all Leadership Classroom students must have a general level of comfort around water, this program is designed for the non-diving student.
