Advanced Aquatics Program

This exciting 10 day program is held on a 50 foot sailboat in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.  Students live aboard the yacht as they travel from island to island, exploring each location both above and below the water.  Activities include learning fundamentals of sailing, a number of advanced diving certifications, and leadership skill building.

This program is diving intensive and very rigorous.  Although students live aboard a sailing vessel for the entire program, most of their learning is dedicated to diving.  Students work to earn Advanced Open Water, as well as one or two specialties such as Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigator, Search & Recovery Diver, Deep Diver and Night Diver certifications on this program.  It is intense and designed for the diving enthusiast who is already Open Water Certified and wants to quickly advance their skills.

Students must be a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent in order to enroll in this program.

The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) has a number of courses that are recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education (ACE), the body who accredits most US colleges and universities.  Students who successfully complete each of the above mentioned certifications during Leadership Classroom’s Advanced Aquatics Program may request a transcript from PADI indicating ACE recommended lower division semester credit hours!
